I think the number one thing that I'm scared about is dying alone or having a loved one die alone. So that's really petrifying to me, but no one has gotten COVID in the apartment, knock on wood.
I'm a production coordinator. All the events that I've currently been working on have been fully virtual and I've had to learn a completely new skill set.
It's a little less exciting because at the end of it, you don't have a tangible product to see, to touch, to feel. You don't get on a plane, go to a venue, finally meet the people that you've only been talking to and have this live event, see the audience reaction, have audience members come up to you and be like, “Hey, did you work on this event?”
I just ended a show and we're like, “all right guys, great show.” And then I closed my laptop and that was it. And so it's really easy in this virtual world to kind of feel like a hamster on a hamster wheel.
I do love live events and I think live events will come back. It'll just be, you know, a little bit of time and it has to be done safely.
