The pandemic is still in full effect and it's really hard to know how you're going to be working, living, going to school.
We have a pod of families that we started in late July. It took about six weeks to actually be able to implement it with quarantines and making sure that we were all tested. It's difficult to trust other people in a pandemic but all the work and dedication that we put into this pod has paid off because we're able to support each other. And taking time to develop that trust with people outside of your family has been super beneficial. I can take the kids and watch them or another family can take the kids and watch them. We support each other in many ways.
We're all extremely honest about what we're doing, who we do it with, who we see, as well as the dedication to always try to do the right thing, wearing masks, keeping social distance, not traveling and so on. It's a small sacrifice and I feel that our children are the ones that are benefiting from it.
I think trusting, that as human beings, we all need to do what's best for one another. That's the thing that's been leading us in the choices that we have been making.
