I finished my associate's degree this week. It was all online so Covid didn't affect my schooling at all. I was kind of lucky…straight A’s in all five classes this semester.
I’m a caregiver and I live with my boyfriend Mike, he's a paramedic. We go to work and home and that's about it, oh and the grocery store.
I take care of a wonderful woman in her nineties and so I'm very adamant about staying as isolated as we can. I do not see my family right now. We have dropped off supplies and we'll stay in the car and wave.
My biggest fear is that not everyone's going to take this as seriously as they should and that can really hurt our immunocompromised population and I'm afraid that it's going to last much longer than it should.
I understand the economy is hurting right now, but I'm pretty adamant about listening to doctors and medical professionals about what to do. So when things open up, I personally will not go out until I hear from medical professionals that it's okay to do so.
I think the government's looking more at the economy and that's important too. But things should not be opening up when we're still facing a staggering number of deaths.
